For the love of...W♥C!

OOTD: May 21,2011
Bonjour mes amis~!
Last week I made yet a purchase from Tori! (^-^)~~~ KEKEKE. My most recent purchase was the W♥C distressed shorts. They are a tad loose on me, but I LOVE THEM.  I totally wanted to wear them to work today, but they are just about borderline scandalous.(T^T) OH OH OH, Tori also surprised me with the cutest mirror! *^*~~~~! BLAHHHHH, I recently lost my knock-off Anna Sui mirror, so receiving this was just perfect. I may be changing my interest in clothing, but cute little traveling trinkets never fail to make their way into my make-up bag. ♥

... I have been meaning to blog about my last W♥C purchase from Tori, but I was focused on my yaplog at the time, which BTW will probably be forever on hiatus now. Anyways, I am definitely lucky to have the "sex&w♥c" cardigan! It totally suits me. At first you don't notice the obscenity of the words, but when you look hard enough, the text is shockingly vulgar. IMO, that's kind of like my personality. I'm extremely meek & shy at a glance, but when you get to know me I'm surprisingly obnoxious. LOL~~~ Having pieces that embody your entity brings more value to your closet, don't you think?

Anyways, head on over to:

It's going to be, BOKEH.

Hello everyone~ ^^

So, recently my family became the proud owners of a Canon 600D/Rebel T3i!Now, I'm not claiming to be a professional at photography... In fact, I am still learning how to use the camera! T^T~~~ But those photos are just a little look into the type of photos I'm interested in shooting outside of fashion. After watching DigitalRev videos, I was really inspired to make my own bokeh shapes. In this photo set, I used a heart shape, though, they look more like a messed up pacman V_V... Hopefully, when I have more understanding of how bokeh works, I'll place a DIY video and tutorial here! ^^ Until then...

See you later~~~

DIY Fringed Crop Top

What's up everyone?!
I'm so horrible at updating this blog. (T __ T) But, I have come back with a video! I have always been into boat neck tops, but recently I became fond of some things I would never pick up before... crop tops & fringe! I used to think fringe was too gaudy and flapper/hippie-like, but somehow I've become open to such a thing. Then there's the ordeal of crop tops... You can be frowned upon for wearing one, but I believe as long as you're carrying a modest attitude, there's no reason for those disapproving eyes. LOL, I get such looks quite frequently, but I know who I am and what values I hold for myself. (^ o ^)~~~ So here's my video!

[*WARNING: You may want to lower/mute your audio. KPOP plays throughout the video ^^;;]

[Sorry, for the LQ of the video. My original video was 1.3Gig, but that would have taken 8 hours to upload to youtube! (O _ o) Unfortunately, I had to compress it to about 70MB for a reasonable upload time.]

Instructions:
1) Gather materials: 1 oversized tee that you would like to reform & a pair of fabric scissors. (Regular scissors will work too, but it'll be a little more difficult to cut with since the blades may have been dulled.)

2) If you would like to a how to on creating the boat neck effect, visit Tori's blog! ^^<33 Otherwise, fold your tee in half and sure the edges are neatly aligned. I already have a particular length that I like in crop tops, so I used my old kitson tee as a reference. But to give you an idea as to how much I cut off, it was about 5" and at this length it is an inch past my navel.

3) Once you reached your desired length, cut straight across the bottom of the shirt.

4) Unfold your shirt and lay it flat, this is where we will begin to make our fringes! Make your first cut at the side of the tee. Then work your way in. You will want the length of the fringe to be about 3" or more and the width of the fringe to be 1/2 an inch or less. For this first attempt I decided with 3"-high and 1/2"-wide

5) When you have completed the cutting around the shirt, pull at the fringes. Add some strength, as you will want these fringes to be skinnier rather than wide! Do this for each fringe.

6. Give the tee a little shake and you're done!

This was really fun and easy to make! Early in the video you see an already cut out top, I learned how to make this via TORI~! I suggest leaving more shoulder space though! I don't know if it's just me, but I can't keep my top up so I'll usually have a long racer back tank underneath. (v_v);;; LOL, earlier I showed the finished product to my mom and she said "That's so 80's! Are you going to do the sleeves as well?" AH, as much as I like fringe now, I think that doing the sleeves would be too much. What do you guys think? I'll be going out today and I predict that I will be buying some oversized tees to use my new DIY skills on! x)T

[If any of you have questions feel free to ask & I'll do my best to answer them!]

See you later~!

A new vibe~?

What's up everyone~?!
As of late, I have really been into creating looks that posses a strong image. I have not touched black articles of clothing since my freshman year in high school. I was told that I needed to broaden my closet and rocking black all the time was not really appealing. Hearing that hurt my pride back then... PFT! But here I am doing the black thing again and rocking it better than ever! (at least I hope I am xD) Hopefully I'll be able to get my lazy bum to do some coordi posts tomorrow~~~

LOL, that photo btw is the very first middle part pic of myself I have posted online.... ughhh it's just not me :[

W♥C: To sell or not to sell?

I have been thinking about this for a while now. As much as I love my W♥C onepiece from Tori, I need to give it up. :( It's just not my style anymore. Would any of you gals be interested in it?

Can you keep a secret?

Bonjour mes amis! Comment allez vous? LOL... yeah three years of Francais and I barely remember the basics! Anyways, before I go on babbling about products I just had to let everyone know that I was offered a permanent position at my work! Woot! I'm really happy because after all this time I felt so down because one of my co-workers told me that I was a goner after Black Friday, but in the end she didn't get hours for the rest of the season and was given the boot. I'm horrible for putting it that way, but she really did rub it in my face when she assumed I would be done. I'm happy that I worked hard and earned my stay. I am surrounded by wonderful people and although there is a greater responsibility in this position, I will work hard! (Though, the "secret shop" scares the sh*t out of me! D;)

WOOOOOOOOO~~ "Secret Garden" galore! LOL, not really, but these products are enough to last me through winter and most of the summer. I have always been a fan of Love Spell, but the last time that I used this product was when in my freshman year of high school. I stopped using it because 1) The scent correlated with bad memories 2) I felt that it was too mature for me & 3) I was just a little 14 year old girl with pocket money that I would rather spend on my fads of the time. I believe I saved money to look like a snotty wannabe jrocker. LMFAO.

WOOOO~~~ This was on my Christmas list and I believe my bestie is the only one who actually gave me products that were actually on the list. ^-^ I love her xD Oh, and btw if you ever plan on giving someone a gift set from Victoria's Secret "Secret Garden" line, you should get them that particular box. There's more bang for your buck in that purchase. This set comes with three bottles of 8.4oz products for $25.00 whereas the purse set comes with one 8.4oz bottle of body mist and two 4.2oz bottles of lotion and body wash for $24.00. For a dollar more you would be getting way more product than what the purse set would be giving you.

Kekeke, here are all of my Love Spell products. It doesn't seem like much in this photo, but I'm not the type that needs to use lotion for more than once a day. Oh, and I just realized that I stopped using "Secret Garden" because I thought their hand cream was crap and didn't moisturize my skin at all. I noticed that it works better if I had already applied a regular lotion beforehand. I'm glad I've become more trustworthy of the hand cream. I have to thank my brother for buying me three bottles of it! :) I have been complimented recently about the "softness" of my hands. hahaha *note to self* use product often.

This isn't a part of the "Secret Garden" line, but I absolutely love "Dream Angels Wish". My boyfriend bought me a little gift set of this particular scent a couple years ago and I loved it! I bought this during this years semi-annual sale! This is the 2.5oz bottle and is usually $49.00, I bought it for $12.25! :D!!! Wahoo! It'll be a while before I use this one though :O I still have the .25oz perfume that my boyfriend bought for me. I can usually get away with one little spritz and the scent will last me the whole day.

Over the past couple of years I have been unable to find the right scent for me. I've grown out of my vanilla and cupcake scented days and have been searching for something more elegant and mature. Victoria's Secret products do the job. I believe it was Jenny who said something along the lines of wanting to be  "a nice smelling woman", I totally get what she means! I don't know what it is about "Victoria's Secret" scents that make me feel so good about myself when I am immersed in these garden scents, but its given me confidence! Corny right? But it's true.

(btw, sorry for the inconsistent editing and quality of photos I was playing around with photoscape and I've already held off on this entry for so long I was too lazy to find the original photos :'D)

*EDIT* During my personal run for "Secret Garden" products I bought 10 for $40($4 per product) :O Not too bad since the regular deal is 8 for A$35.00($4.38 per product)?

See you all later~!

Happy New Year!

What's up everyone? How were your holidays? Here's just a little preview of what I'll be blogging about in the near future. I have been so obsessed with Victoria's Secret "Secret Garden" line! :D I'll see you all soon!
